Can anyone recommend a good hotel in Galway? Looking at a weekend stay in October.

ya i was just there with my dgf in feb and stayed in the days hotel galway. it wasa lovely hotel and they had an offer on 2nights bed and breakfast and one free dinner. and the dinner is lovely

or why not try the galway bay hotel. this is another lovely hotel that looks out over the sea and a very popular choice with the americans when they come over

if you're lookoing for a real treat try the 'G Hotel' http://www.theghotel.ie/g/ its VERY expensive but absolutely fabulous!

Wow, does look very nice but as you say quite expensive. We'll not be spending so much time in the hotel, only really a bed for the night so hard to justify, although it is tempting!

We are looking at staying in Galway in the summer to visit family.Thanks for the hotel ideas they look fab! :grin:

i wont be at these ones but my good friend who i went travelling to all these places playing doubles with, he will be playing in them.

We stayed in the House Hotel in Galway last October and it was really really nice and right in the centre. thehousehotel.ie

Hope you have a lovely time.. its a beautiful part of Ireland.

My son is going to university in Galway to study marine biology after his A-Levels (fingers crossed!).
It is such a beautiful part of the world, he is going to have the time of his life!
