I am trying to sort out where to go on which days so i have looked on crowd calender and for when i am there its best days to visit parks are
sunday -ak
monday-ep
tuesday-ds
wednesday-mk
thursday-ak
friday-ep or ak
saturday- mk, ep or ds

i always thought it was best to visit a park the day after a parks extra opening hours, so i have looked on the park hours thread and going on that i should do
sunday - any
monday- mk
tuesday- ak
wednesday-ep
thursday- ds
friday- ep
saturday- mk

so now i am stuck as they are different
so which one would you go by -the crowd calender or the day after extra opening hours

I'd go for the crowd calendar days, as long as they don't co-incide with emh days. :confused2
That said, Disney often change emh days with little notice so keep an eye out, I've had to change our AK day because of this.
if you subscribe to touring plans.com, you can get really good information for the days you'll be out there. :wavey:

It looks like 8's and 9's at the middle/end of june so some careful planning is in order - $7.95 for TP Subs is a small price to pay, you can get sample itinerarys and even create a tailor made one.

I tried joining that but had problems with the paypal - did everything right pressed pay but it never did it (pay that is)
someone from here emailed me the crowd calender for june

do you think it is best to go to a park following extra late hours or extra early hours

I don't think it really matters tbh, I'm just avoiding all emh days, I haven't really checked to see if there was one before or after my chosen day - I've gone with the best/worst park section and avoided the worst and cross referenced it with the official calender.
Getting there for ropedrop seems to be the defining factor - I'd rather have a mad couple of hours charging around getting it all done, followed by slowing down and chilling out. That's where we have a head start on the u.s. visitors, we are naturally up by 6am, we may as well make the most of it!

As a basic idea going after emh is good, but there are other things that draw in the crowds and the touring plans site factors these in:

day of week
gay days
special promotions
historic visiting patterns
what's happening at other parks
etc

When we arrive in Florida, our first day has always been in Animal Kingdom. This is because (if you aren't staying in a Disney hotel and its extra magic hours) we always wake up early on the first day and its the park that opens earliest. - Get out there on Kilimanjaro Safaris and see the animals awake!!! And a fastpass for Expedition Everest of course!! :wavey:
