Does anyone know when they release tickets for this event?
Has anyone been before who could tell me, as a scaredy cat, am I likely to be heading for the exit as soon as its dusk coz some of the pics look pretty gruesome :erm:

Details and dates will be released and tickets usually go on sale in June/July. If you are a scaredy cat be ready to be terrified  Take someone to hide behind ;)

In my opinion HHN are not be missed, they are a great scare!! There are many clips of past horror nights on youtube. Take a look, only things I haven't found on there are the houses, which for me are the scariest part of it. Go for it, you will love it!!!!!

I was planning on taking DS (12) he was really up for it, but I think it'll be too scary for him (and me) after looking on last years site. I think maybe we'll stick to MNSSHP this time?

There are often quite young children, some people even pushing pushchairs around!, don't understand that!!! To be honest it's scary from the minute you get in there, there are no main lights on, they are playing horror music and they have actors hiding in the plants and in various places jumping out on you. The houses are gory and also have actors jumping out at people.

Last year I had to RUN through the Mummy Ride coz the bloke on stilts started to chase me :omg: dont hold much hope for lasting 5 mins :pgig: :pgig:
I will give it a try but can see me hot footing over to the exit :omg:

And that is EXACTLY why I'm not going!! :nonono:
It would scare the bjeebies out of me, never mind he who is scared to even sleep without a night light on.

I bought my HHN tickets last year at the start of August.
It as a fantastic night, loved it. If your child scares easy or is young then i would not advise taking them, Universal dont sell childrens tickets to this event for that reason however they do not stop you taking them, you would have to buy an adult ticket though. I went last year and you can read about it and see some photos in my trip report.

One of the my family did not go into the houses she was that scared. She was 14. We told her not to come but she insisted, they scares started as soon as we walked in the turnstiles :D
Some areas are darker than others but there is only minimal lighting and even smoke in the streets.
Brill night !

I didnt put too much into the report as i dont like to spoil everything but it gives you the idea.
Its a great night and well worth going to at least the once to experience it. We got some cracking scares, one where the boys thought the lady was a dummy only to touch her leg and for her to jump on them, to my son thinking he as looking through a glass window to an old woman outside when there was really no glass there and she reached through at him :pgig: :pgig:
If you do go, as much as its hard not too when your scared, try to take it all in when walking through the houses. Sometimes i admit to just putting my head down and holding onto whoever was in front and running :spin:
At the start of evry house it was a competition to see who was NOT at the back or the front, we all fought for the middle :D
