Busch Gardens - how much time?

This is our 3rd visit to Florida, but this will be the 1st time we'll do Busch Gardens. We have a 10 year old adrenalin junkie and we've waited for him to be big enough to go on the coasters. He also loves animals so we have to see everything here.

We're going on th 16th August, and I've tentatively planned to go to Busch on the 2 Wednesdays we are there - 20th and 27th.

We know it's going to be hot, and intend to take things easy.

Will 2 days allow us to do everything at a leisurely pace?

2 days will give you more than enough time to do everything at a very leisurely pace.

You might even get to go on the bigger rides like kwazi and montu, two or three times. Having said that if it's busy Shreikra can have big lines, but its worth the wait.

I've never known BG be mega busy except maybe during howl-oscream, and then you can buy special fast passes to skip the lines.

You'll have a great time! One tip if you buy the tickets onlne you get the second day free and for a discount price currently (adults pay child prices). That's assuming your not going to get a flex ticket or the like.

There's even bigger savings to be had by searching for busch gardens promo codes on the web.

Yes, 2 days is about right. I thought Sheikra was THE best coaster in all of the parks, with Gwazi a close second (if only 'cos it felt like it would fall apart at any moment - I'm serious!).

Alanda I would normally say that 1 day is enough but I have only gone 'off season' and have managed to ride the roller coasters several times each. But I see you will be going in August and so anticipate that you will need two days to cover the park - One of my favourite rides, but at the end of the day, is the 'Tidal wave', it's a very old water ride but brilliant!!
