Where in your opinions do you think will be the best pace to go see the fireworks on the 4th July
Jackie
Hi,
MK does great fireworks but the park is so busy you can't move most of the day. So i would say go to Epcot because they can manage the crowds better.

Go on the 3rd July as they do the same fireworks show as 4th. We stood in front of Cinderella's Castle but had to be there an hour before as there was such a crowd. What would it be like on 4th?

Jackie we were in Florida on the 4th last year - this year we're going to Vero Beach to get away from it all.
As other are saying get to MK on the 3rd of July. The park is absolutely crazy packed full of people, but the fireworks are very different that night. Best place to stand IMO would be at the railway station looking down main street USA to the castle since you'll see everything from there. It's the oone time of year when the fireworks aren't just limited to the area behind the castle.
We decided to avoid the parks completely on the 4th and went to Celebration instead. Around the lake there they had fireworks, live music from the bandstand, a celebrity chef doing demonstrations and loads of free gifts being given out all over the place. It would have been fantastic had the heavens not opened....

We did MK on July 3rd, that was busy enough, goodness knows what the 4th was like. On the 4th we saw the fireworks at Disney Studios, great display and wonderful atmosphere.

We did EPCOT on 4th July - good show and it did not feel too crowded.

we were out there a few years ago for the 4th of July.
The house we were renting had a direct line of sight to Epcot (albeit a few miles away!) but we had a perfect view of the fireworks and they were spectacular.
weird thing was in the distance in the opposite direction we could see a thunderstorm with horizontal lightning so had fireworks and lightning show!

4th july is a nightmare in mk, dhs and epcot.... remember dak does not have fireworks at all so this park will be quiet all day. my recommendation would be togo to dak thru the day and then head to dtd for the fireworks. avoid mk at all costs!

I was at MK last year on the 3rd and was told that the firework display was identical to the display on the 4th.
It was absolutely spectacular, yes it was packed but it was well worth it. Then we hung around for an hour and watched the Spectromagic parade which was fab, It meant a late night and very tired kids but very well worth it.
We went to Epcot on 4 July and it was so crowded it was almost impossible to walk on the paths near the lake. It also took us nearly two hours to get out of the car park. The fireworks were good, but I wouldn't do it again.
