on the sea world dvd there is a bit were a child is viewing shamu underground(like the dolphin viewing area) and was wondering if you can actulally do this, weve been twice before and never found it.

I can't remember how you get there but there is a huge window where you can see him swimming (if he is in there) - we came across it accidentally and stopped to have look. The first time there was no sign but on the way back we had another look and he was there then. Unfortunately so was half the park. :wave:

Lotti I've just looked at this (http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/swmap.html) map and you see where it says underwater viewing at the back of Shamu stadium well I'm sure that is where we were - you go down a slope if I remember rightly and the window is under a covered area. :wave:

There is a huge underwater viewing window right behind the Shamu Stadium, looking at the entrance to the stadium it is to the right, just follow the pathway around.

Some thing to keep you going until you get there........go onto shamu.com, click on watch shamu cam and you can watch Shamu swimming.........it's fab!!

Me too, it's just down the bottom of the hill, and we saw Shamu too , it was really good. My little one was well amazed.

It is just to the left of 'The Cove' where the 'Dine with Shamu' experience takes place. I'm sure many people don't find it as it always very quiet when we've been. The children love it & Shamu does interact with you if you stand close to the glass, often swimming down & peering through the glass at you. I got some fab pictures this year....

We did have a bit of a scare last year though as a small boy was banging on the glass & obviously upset Shamu, she swam at very high speed straight into the glass with a massive bang!! Certainly stopped him though, frightened him half to death!!
