bikinis at water parks?

my dd came home from school today saying that you are not allowed to wear bikinis at one of the water parks (her friend was there last year) can anyone tell me if this is right and if so which park. she is most upset that her tummy wont get brown and she cant show off her belly button piercing :tounge: thanks

I've never heard on that - I suspect that they shouldn't be offensive but I'm 99.9% sure they are allowed in all of the water parks.

Definitely a leg pull this one, seen loads of FEMALES wearing bikinis in the water parks :)

They are not advised though if your DD wants to do any of the shutes or tube rides. The top ends up as a necklace and the bottoms a wedgie :omg:

Young lads (and older ones like Bozza) hang around at the bottom of some shutes just to see this very outcome :pgig:

I think the general rule is no thong bottoms, as it is a family place, but normal bikinis are completely fine.

just remember to cross your legs on slides when told to or the consequences can be very unpleasant ! and always check your cossie as you get off a slide

DD 11 was wearing a tankini with shorts style bottoms and still managed to end up with the mother of all wedgies!!! And i just happened to get a fantastic picture of it that will be used for blackmail purposes for many years to come! ;) :pgig:

My wife lost her bikini top when a massive wave landed on her face first down in Cocoa Beach a couple of years ago... just wished I had the old camcorder on her at the time... I could have made £250-00 from a TV show !! ;)

The female I went to TL with was lying on her front and untied her bikini straps at the back so she didnt get strap marks and was quickly asked to re do it.

Mind you she was a bit of a lucker and did have huge, erm, assets :D

Was your daughters friend maybe meaning the Theme parks at WDW ?

I know that the rule is that girls/ladies are not supposed to walk about wearing bikini tops but i have seem more of it lately. Also on Kali River Rapids at AK my sis got into trouble for taking off her vest top to wear her bikini top on the ride, this isn't allowed either.

At IOA however, men can take off their tops and ladies wear their bikini tops on Blutos Barges.

I was just wondering if her friend had got mixed up as you can, as everyone has said wear a bikini to the parks. Unfortunately i have been the victim of a water slide stealing my top !!

A lesson learned, if your wearing a bikini and do some of these rides wear one that ties at the back, tie it tight and double knot it. I was wearing one that just closed on a clasp ! Never again :nonono: :pgig:
