Hi Folks! :wavey:
How many people are planning to book tickets for MVMCP tomorrow? Going to try to come home at lunchtime to do it (so excited :pgig: ).

Has anyone tried to book through WDTC? I'm sure when I've phoned the UK number it goes straight through to the US. But if we try earlier than noon might we get UK reservations agents?

Good luck, hope everyone gets the dates they want :thumbs-up

Good luck getting your tickets. We want tickets for the 16th Dec. Not sure if our budget will allow us to get them tomorrow though. We have a trip coming up in a few weeks so trying to save some spends.:thumbs-up

No rush for mine. We are going on a quiet night and there have always been tickets for sale on the night. We might actually leave it till we get there this year as we had one party ruined because the weather was SOOOOOOOOOO cold!! Kids all caught nasty colds and ruined a chunk of the holiday :( .

Does anyone know if the Sun 7th Dec is a quiet night or busy night at all? Not sure whether to try booking tomorrow or hang off a bit longer yet?

The busiest nights are usually Fri and Sats and they usually sell out, although not immediately. Other sell out dates are often the last couple of party nights as well.

Last year we wanted to do MNSSHP actually on Halloween (the busiest night and always a sell out) but I didnt get my tickets till August. Nothing will sell out tomorrow so I wouldnt panic.

Does anyone have a list of the dates for MVMCP and the phone number would be great. Agree with Allie though, i doubt if anything will sell out tomorrow.

I believe that's the week of Pop Warner tournament. The parks may be slightly busier than usual.

Heres a link to the page which tells you the dates.

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/parks/specialEvents?id=MickeysVeryMerryChristmasPartySpe cialEventPage

I was under the impression that the pop warner started on the Mon 8th? Can anyone confirm this. I go home this day so that will be fine for us but was hoping our second week would be quieter as the first is going to busy with Thanksgiving?

To anyone phoning or on hold at the moment, the systems are down so they are not selling the tickets at the moment. The phone lines have about a 30minute wait to be told this. I was told to phone back at noon.

I have booked our (yodas and mine) MVMCP tickets for the 10th November l did have intial problems getting through and had to wait on hold for a while -good job we get free international calls- but l spoke to a very helpful assistant and managed to get want we wanted, she also updated my contact details which l had forgotten to do after l changed my internet provider. All details now stored on my phone and l have written out a paper backup ready in the suitcase so as l don't forget them.Just to claify l have a suitcase in the spare room and l put items in it so that l don't forget i.e. insurance policy mapman's map, driving directions from the airport .
All we need now is to be on the plane and on our way.

Thanks for that Skyhigh. I don't think we are planning on going to the parks during the day on the Sunday 7th. Saving ourselves for the MVMCP at night as we plan on booking Chef Mickey for our last night dinner also so hopefully won't be too busy.

To be honest the holiday booked now so not much we can do about crowds or how busy its going to be - suppose just need to take it as it comes eh? LOL

You know, last year at Halloween, several of the parties were a washout (fortunately not the one we did) and we saw a lot of very bedraggled soggy costumes and sad kids. And you are right, its a big expense for a family so it does kind of make sense to wait and see what the weather is doing.

We usually go for 3 weeks though, so its not hard to find a date with tickets left and we are never usually too fussed when we go, so its no big deal for our family to leave it. I have up and till now, always booked in advance, but this year I intend to wait till we arrive, check the weather and book accordingly when we are out there.

When you arrive there will be boards up saying if tickets are available for that nights party or if its sold out. Go to Guest Services and they will tell you what dates have availability for future parties.

I would call back. They told me this last year and so we just collected them at will call. It was really no trouble. But a lot of Dibbers had them posted to them.

Just call back and you will probably get someone who will post them. If not just collect them when you get there.:thumbs-up

I've just order tickets for MNSSHP for 28/10 and they are being shipped to our UK address. I didn't have to ask, the CM automatically put it through, he was extremely helpful.

I'd definitely just call back.

Have to agree with Rusty. We always wait until we get there and have seen the 5 day forecast before buying our tickets. I guess if there is only one or two days you can actually make it then book in advance to make sure you get tickets.
