View Full Version : How much money for two weeks in Majorca?
DD17 is off to Tenerife for two weeks in August and we are not sure how much spending money she will require.
We were thinking about £25 a day roughly for food/drink (£350) and £350 spending money.
Do you think this will be enough?
Will she be able to use her Electron card for an emergency?
We are planning getting her Euros before they go down even more :(

When my son went last July Lynn he spent almost £1000 but then I think lads probably spend a whole lot more on booze than girls and forget about eating
PS...You asked about Majorca .....is she going there or Tenerife?

DD does not drink alcohol but I am sure soft drinks will be just as expensive.

lol Lynn I thought maybe she'd changed it to Majorca....what's the name of her hotel again....if I see it I'll have a wee look around it for you....I'm sure that'll be plenty for her...I'm expecting to see a big difference in how far our money goes in Tenerife in three weeks time

was dirty moldy, smelled of dirty nappies, cockroaches the size of a 50p piece. only 4 beds for 5 people. was supposed to have satalite tv not even a tv in room. no proper windows just shutters. would not recommend staying there plenty of better places. :omg: :omg:

A lot ....We were there is january and spent £1500 in a week between 3 of us and we didnt go daft. The pop was as expensive as the beer which on average was abround 3 euros as we got a shock at how much it had gone up since the last time we were there but i think all of spain is getting like that now since the euro started and its just going to price itself out the market if it keeps going.
