Hiya we are going next year as well and so far have only booked the universal tickets as they are cheaper on their site and have no expiry worked out at £45. each for a 7 day 2 park hopper.

I havent bought any more its too early for DC and we get seaworld included and the disney tickets are £20. each more next year so I'm waiting to see if the price drops later in the year or early next year using this years prices as a guide.....

£45. each for a 7 day 2 park hopper (Universal)

Cheaper at Viator (http://www.viator.com/tours/Orlando/Universal-Orlando-2-Park-Unlimited-Admission-Ticket-for-7-Days/d663-3088_2D). Use promotion code FAB7 to save 7% and you can get the 7 day 2 park hopper (Universal) for £39.77. Change the currency on the left hand menu to pounds as it works out cheaper than buying in dollars.

Have received an email from universal:

Hello,
Thank you for contacting the Universal Online Ticket Store. The
2 Park 7 day Unlimited Admission ticket never expires until it is first used. It will be valid in July 2009. Justin - Universal Online

So it seems these are the best value AND ARE DEFINATELY VALID FOR 2009. Will be purchasing ours from here. http://secure.universalstudios.com/w...lID=UOTPTLiveC
Thanks Dizneyblonde

I would have thought it would be the same for the Viator link I posted previously, as they email you a voucher for exchange at the ticket booth when you get there. I bought from Viator in 2007 and visited Universal on 2nd January 2008 and had no problems exchanging the voucher for hard tickets. I don't think any of the Universal tickets expire at the turn of a new year. It is only Disney tickets we have to worry about.

I emailed them and they said no they were only valid for 2008 as they were waiting for 2009 prices.

I deffo had an email from them saying yep, that are valid for 2009 from universal, so i would go with these rather than viator.

No, i'm not on commission, just trying to be helpful - I like to see others get the best deal for their money that's all. I know how annoying it can be to buy tickets and then discover they are cheaper elsewhere. I have just bought my own 2008 tickets, so I have been doing some research into the best prices during the past couple of months and i'm just passing on the information.

Thanks essexmate just a shame we can't use it to buy tickets for next year on the site as it was a fab find.

If you are worried about the validity of tickets for 2009, why not wait until they are available at Viator? In my experience they have always beaten the Universal price with the discount codes available. If the FAB7 code is discontinued you can get the current codes from google or here (http://www.retailmenot.com/view/viator.com). Viator promotion codes seem to be available all year round (there was even a 10% code "FABSAV" not so long ago which I used last November, although it doesn't seem to work now).

DizneyBlonde
5 May 08, 03:08 PM
Great news to know that they do offers all the time.

I was a bit worried if i didn't get the Universal one now i may miss out all round.

If viator do them all the time i will wait until i can buy for next year.

Thanks for that EM

I don't have any loyalties to any of the ticket vendors. I only go for the best prices. I'll happily buy from Universal direct if they are the cheapest available when I need to buy.

DizneyBlonde

Me neither i'll always go with whoever is cheapest!!!!

I was only jesting with you...lol... I too am just worried to buy them and not be valid for next year thats all. But if you insist they will have the promotional discount on for 2009, then I shall wait.

Of course, you always have the risk the prices may increase significantly later. Or the dollar strengthens.

am i right in saying that the universal one on their website gets u 7 day access to universal and ioa and for 2ad 2ch would be about £175

$81.38 each person, the child price are the same as the adults on the 2park 7day pass if bought at universal direct. So will be $346.68 for 4 people..
