We're a family of four going to Orlando in august. This is our fourth trip so we've done all the parks before. To keep the cost down this year, we've chosen our 'must see' parks and only want to buy tickets for these. We know that the per park price will work out higher but it keeps the overall cost down. We want to visit magic kingdom, typhoon lagoon, universal and aquatica plus a couple of smaller attractions. None of the ticket options cover just the parks we want and the combinations offered seem to be more expensive than just buying individual tickets.

Does anyone know if there is a cheaper way or have any ideas??

Should we buy in the uk or when get there?

you could try floridatix i have just bought our tickets from them for our holiday this year and they were the cheapest i found and i am sure they do a 1 day ticket for aquatica, as for universal studios and disney it might be worth having a look at the official websites for both parks I know when i have looked in the past they sell 1 day tickets and you get a bit of a discount for booking on the web. Good luck and have a great trip we might see you there!!!

Worth a look at Maple Leaf who sells in USD. Like you, we didn't want the full blown 14 day ultimate all inclusive etc and bought ours from there. Highly recommended, we've used them many times before. http://www.mapleleaftickets.com/

magic kingdom - $75.62 at the gate.
typhoon lagoon - $41.54 at the gate
Or for $128 you could buy 1 day plus 2 visits to water parks.

Universal - 1 day 1 park $72.95 from Mapleleaf
Aquatica - $38.95 from http://www.aquaticabyseaworld.com

$229.06

it's a fairly expensive way to visit the parks. 1 day at Disney is cheapest on the gate, other places actually add a surcharge onto a 1 day ticket.

Thanks to all who've replied so far!!

BevS97 - the one park plus 2 day water park ticket sounds great. Is this one that can be booked online or is it only available at Disney itself??

I think you would have to get it at Disney, Mapleleaf & Undercover tourist only start at a 3 day with Water Park option. And the 1 day base ticket is cheaper on the gate than from Mapleleaf.
