Just booked Mexico!

We just booked 11 nts in El Dorado Royale, Riveria Maya starting 31st March next year with First Choice. Very excited, always wanted to go.

Good for you. We love Mexico and have been 3 times. We stayed at the Riveria Maya 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. Have a great time!

We keep torturing ourselves by looking up our hotel on Tripadvisor and reading the reviews and looking at all the gorgeous pics :(

You will have a fabulous time. The Riviera Maya is a great place, the weather beautiful and the people so lovely.

This time next week we will just have boarded the plane for our 2 week Mexico holiday - can't wait.........

I too have booked Riviera Maya for November this year (2008). We were first of all going to El Dorardo Seaside Suites which is a sister hotel in October but due to my daughter announcing that her and her husband are now going to have their first baby in October we decided to move our holiday to November. We are now booked in to the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar. Anyone been there?

Also looking forward to next Tuesday when we go to Riu Grand, Aruba for 2 weeks !!! Can't wait.:wave:

Ooooooooooooohh, you are making me jealous. Still trawling through brochures but I keep coming back to the Riu Playacar as it's not quite so big as some of the others and the beach is supposed to be better than most although still quite eroded.

Well I know the beach can change from week to week at the moment, but since I will be over there next week (woo hoo - only 4 more get ups) I will try and sort out some kind of trip report with pictures when I get back, as so many people seem to be interested in Mexico, and especially the Playa del carmen area.

Over there for 2 weeks, so probably won't get anything sorted until end May / beg June, and if anyone has read my recent cruise trippie you will see I tend to go a bit overboard with them :blush:

I will also try and visit as many of the Riu's I can so if anyone has anything particular they want me to look out for, then let me know.

You have picked a fantastic hotel. We stayed there 4 years ago and was in awe. I am soooo jealous, you will have a fab time. The food is wonderful and so are the rooms x

Congrats. We're also going with First choice but to Bahia Gran Principe, Riviera Maya. Fly May next year and already counting down the days :grin:

Not sure what will be happening with the flights by then mind, as it will be a full thomsonfly flight.

Fingers crossed we'll be travelling with a 20 month old and a 2 month old, so I think Premium cabin on our flight will be one to avoid :d:

Good choice, our friends went in Jan this year to this hotel and said it is wonderful, so good they are going back.
