2 ppl pulled out of holiday so ADR question [Archive]

Ther were 8 of us going to CRT, 6 adults and 2 kids. I adult has pulled out with her wee boy so I was wondering what I should do with CRT now. Should I call them and ask to cancel 1 adult and 1 child from from ADR?.

I was stressed doing a straightforward ADR nm having to have a full blown conversation lol.

I asked about this, not at CRT though - I'm sure you will be charged if you dont let them know, but you risk not getting another booking if you cancel 8 and try to rebook 6. I was told we cant just remove 2 from the ADR we already have - that was for Cali Grill.

Perhaps they could be ill on the day.

At CRT you have to pay a deposit, so if you don't cancel you will be charged. I don't see why they can't change an 8 to a 6, I would at least ring and try.

I had to pay for all 5 of us up front in full when i booked CRT

CRT - Cinderella's Royal Table, which is a restaurant in the castle.

I had to phone to change one when our numbers changed, there must be a reason because they even gave me a new time

I phoned them and the lady was really nice. At first she was gonna cancel the whole ADR and rebook but the place was booked solid so she stuck me on hold for 15 minutes, then came back on and said she'd just cancel 1 adult and 1 child and refund the money to the cc. Yay..I was so nervous about doing it, so I'm glad it's done now. The other ADR's I'm just gonna leave as they are and hope noone has a problem wth us being 2 guests less....but it's better 2 less than turning up 2 more,isn't it? (ar am I just trying to convince myself lol)
