Have been on for a few weeks now but haven't formally introduced myself - I'm the "dibber" in a family of 3 - me, DH and DS who is 4 and nearly 1/2. We live in Dublin, Ireland
DH and I have been to WDW 3 times already and I have been to DL in Anaheim once in the mid 90's - this will be DS first trip.
Since visiting WDW though, I have no interest in visiting any other Disney parks.
As you can see from our countdown we are going on the 5th June and I am totally obsessed by it! Have a bus journey to work every day and am reading the "Unofficial Guide" cover to cover and then, in the evenings when DS is in bed am surfing here - the house has gone to pieces - floors remain unswept, ironing undone, dust inches thick BUT I DON'T CARE - WE'RE OFF TO DISNEY AGAIN!!!!:spin::spin::spin:

Hi and welcome to the Dibb. Another fellow dubliner dibber on board

Hi, and welcome.
I'm also in the Republic-Near Kilkenny, but worked in Dublin for a few years before I moved down.
I too have had 3 trips to WDW , my 3rd was Easter this year, but I cannot wait to go back.
I went to DLP last year and am going back again in July with my DH (for his 1st time ever at Disney) and my DS aged 10.
After coming back from Florida there's no comparison really but I'd already booked DLP (to take DH there-he can be VERY stubborn at times!!)
Where are you staying and what are your plans whilst there?
Who are you flying with?
Super advice, information and help on this website.
Feel feel to ask or PM for anything you need.
I'm just going to remove the wet clothes from the washing (I should have done today) and tackle some more ironing tomorrow (some of it left over from when we came back at Easter:blush:)
Me thinks a lot of us in the same boat (if we're absolutely honest)!!!
Cheers and have a terrific holiday. Its one of the best places on earth to be!!

Hi & welcome!
Glad to hear you've got your prioities right:
Florida and Disney FIRST
Floors and Dishes SECOND
Sounds like normal practise for most of us dibbers! LOL :d:
:wavey: Hi Joshie1, welcome to the DIBB. The Irish are getting plentiful around here now :D I think my avatar gives away my location :o: although I'm not a huge hurling fan, Henry's job is to sit in the back window of my car & take the Cork look off my C reg car :pgig:
I'm another one who is slowly letting the house go to pot while DIBBing, the closer my holiday gets the less gets done. Thank God for bank holiday weekends, let me catch up a little. I see you are 5th June, we are 13th so if you hear a flat Kilkenny accent in your 2nd week say hi. I know what you mean about studying the Unofficial guide. My main study & homework items at the moment are mapmans map & my TomTom. I keep studying the roads & have all my points of interest & favourites in.
It will be lovely having yours & sons first trip at the same time. WDW is so addictive and there's so much to see you could return for years & still not have seen everything. June will be my 5th trip & I can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Welcome - another Dub here....you can tell our house too from the long grass and grubby floors!!
We have been going to Florida since 1991 and now visit 3/4 times per year.
Welcome to the DIB...where Disney comes first.
