Has anyone got any ideas for a one week trip. We're trying to pack too much in I think, trying to go to the main WDW and Universal parks during our stay.

The kids are 14 and 10, we're not having a car so everything will be on local transport, hotel transfer services etc.

Any tips very appreciated - we would like to see some fireworks but are not too bothered about theme meals out.

I would think a day at each park would let you see most main attractions.

I would go to Magic Kingdom on a day thatit is open later in the evening, there seems to be a lot more to see, make sure you don't miss the electrical parade or the wishes fireworks. Make good use of your Fastpasses.

Use the AK as a more restful day as the park seems to not open as late as the others and can be seen in a day, again make good use of the fastpass.

Mgm is my favourite and probably better for kids age group, don't miss Fantasmic, try to book a Fantasmic meal, you can rest a bit while eating and won't have to queue. Again faspass.

There is a way aof using your fast pass better, get a fastpass to your choice of ride, say your time slot to return is 13:00-14:00, just before 13:00 make your way to another fastpass ride and wait until just after 13:00, you can then get a fastpass for that ride with a time slot and return to your original fastpass ride before 14:00. It does work! A bit of walking though.

Epcot is a big park and you won't see everything even in a few days, just go for a day and experience it, again don't miss illuminations (fireworks) at 9:00pm.

Try to go to a Disney water park both are fantastic, I prefer TL.

SEAWORLD SHOULD NOT BE MISSED, one day should be enough it was enough, but I could go day after day.

Universal parks need at least a day each, just pick the main rides that you want to do.

Remember that you won't see everything, we spent 3 weeks at the parks on our first visit only 3 days were spent outside the parks and still people when we came home said did you see this and that and we didn't. We will be doing the same again in a few days. Just enjoy what you do see.
I found that this site and the 'Unofficial guide to walt disney 2004' were invaluable for planning.

Have a great time!!

Thanks for your advice. It all sounds brilliant.

Hope you have a great time there in a few days.

Good tips from Mark & Carole. I would suggest have a 'relax' day in the middle - yes, TL is our favourite one - perhaps with some shopping too. Better to enjoy what you do than make it a mad dash, though!
