We have been to Florida several times and stayed in both villas and hotels flying with Virgin and also BA. This time we are flying with TCD and what I would like to know is do we have to go somewhere to register the villa the next day. We get the keys or a code at the airport for the villa but was just wondering what the procedure is as we are taking two granchildren with us and have a full schedule planned starting the next day after travelling.:cool2:

Never booked a villa thru TCD before but when we flew with TCD last year there was a bit in the airport where I would have thought you sort everything out there. So hopefully you'll have it all sorted before you leave the airport.
Hope this is of some help x

Yes the rep meets us at the airport and we get the keys or a code for a box which contains the keys. Hope that everything is sorted out there as don't fancy having to be at meeting to register when we can be doing something else.
Thanks

You have to go to the management offices of the villa company to register the next day and I think ( someone else may confirm or deny) leave your card details in case of breakages It is $300 dollars per week of stay.I seem to think last time the company was located quite close to the villa on the us27 it didnt take long my hubby popped up whilst we got ready we certainly werent all present.Would one adult going be an option you could consider?

I was sure that I had read somewhere that it had to be registered the next day so will just have to change our plans slightly to do that.
Thanks again to everyone for their help

We stayed at West Stonebridge with TCD in 2006 and the first morning we had to register with the management office situated at the entrance to the estate.

We stayed in a TCD villa and also had to register with the management company the day after arrival! We got directions from the airport to the managment company to collect the villa keys on the day of arrival, we had to leave a cc imprint at the airport, i think it was £250 per week??

weve had tcd villas before and weve normally registered them when weve collected our keys at sanford but i have heard of people having to register next day at their welcome centre which used to be a LBV factory outlet but its moved to international drive now.

We went with TCD in 2006, we picked up the keys and gave the card imprint at sanford.
perhaps it depends on which villas are being used or what time the flight gets into Sanford.

We got back 4 weeks ago from a tcd package holiday,it was our 1st trip so was slightly in the dark but basically we got off the plane....over to dollar for the car then right next door is the tcd desk...gave us an info pack containing lockbox keycode and directions to the villa (which were totally wrong)..villa they gave us was at tower lakes at calibay parc..which is a brand new complex near southern dunes....they gave us directions to calabay parc about 10 miles up the us27:angry:...next day we had to go register the villa at the tcd offices just off the 192 (closest to us)...they took imprint of my cc and thats it tbh!
