If you have a look in Chat & News there's a Sticky on Pin Trading where you can get some great advice of established traders.
I think the general opinion is that a lot of pins on eBay are not genuine and are just cheap copies.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

I've bought off ebay for our trip. I got 15 pins from a US seller for about £20 including postage and they were delivered in about a week. They look genuine to me, I'll let you know if we have any trouble trading them!
There are a lot of pins on ebay that are not genuine and do not claim to be. Watch out for these as you will not be able to trade them!

I know i did post this last week but then didnt log back on this weekend as i was away and i cant find if anybody replied to me...
Should i buy any Pins before we go so we can trade - i noticed some on Ebay is it worth paying the postage form the US ?
Can i get them anywhere else?
Is there any rare/unusual Pins I should look out for ?

My kids had 3 each which were xmas presents before we went to get them started but once we got out there they got addicted!!!!
We bought them cheap in Walmart ($4.99 each) or the Character outlets ($5.99 average each) then got them to trade up in the parks. Cheaper way of doing it if you have kids and they love it!:d:

Tip for buying pins in orlando. If you get to Prime Outlets (formerly belz) at the beginning of your holidays, there is a disney character outlet there, that often have half price and under disney pins for sale. Our kids get a few of these and then have great fun "trading up" in the parks - better pins for a lot cheaper price!!:wavey:

P>S - worth getting the kids to "pick" a theme of pins to collect or you'll just got all sorts. My eldest collects pins related to the rides and attractions, hotels we've stayed in, parks etc. The youngest does the same but they have to have mickey on them. You've got to have abit of a focus or its never ending!!!!:wavey:
