Supermarket on I Drive?

Evening all,

I am staying at the Quality Inn International next month and was wondering if anyone can advise on if there is a supermarket on I drive! I remember one at the side of thre mercado but I understand the shopping centre has been pulled down so not sure if it is still there. I was last at the Quality Inn 8 years ago and there was a small mini Market next to Mcdonalds that sold all the basics. Has that disappeared as well or is it still there?

Thanks for any help, I won't be driving so if anyone knows anywhere else close by I would be very grateful.

There is a Goodings near to Ripley's.

There was a small supermarket just south of Jamaican Court, between Ponderosa and Tony Roma's. Can't remember it's name? And Walgreens have a small selection of food in.

Your best bet would be to jump in a taxi and go to Walmart, it cost us $15 each way for a taxi but was well worth it, the place is huge, we stocked our fridge/freezer right up with snack and nibbles and made sandwiches up each day to go to the parks, was great saved eating burgers & chips every day. Allow plenty time for walmart as it is huge and so so cheap :)

or if you fancey a magical mystery tour (or dont have a car) you can get the 37 bus from wet n wild to walmart

There is K-Mart on the other side of the I4 from the Quality Inn. Not ideal with some busy roads to cross however from the rear entrance to the Quality Inn it is only 3/4 mile (google earth) to K-Mart

there are quite a few walgreens on international drive there is one beside the golden coral. one down near pointe orlando.

There's a 7 Eleven and an ABC Liquor bang across the road from QII.

Get a taxi to Walmart on Turkey lake Road, its not that far, there is also a Target store quite close. When you come to Sandlake Rd, turn right go under the I4 and turn right onto Turkey Lake Rd , and it is on the right hand side, if you do not want to take a taxi.

There is a one next to Tony Romas called Kings but we found it quite expensive compared to our fave, Wal Mart.

The 7Eleven opposite QI was enough for us , to get basics anyway.

Yep gotta agree with you, we were in Best Western and that was the nearest, but every thing was twice the price than Walmart on Turkey Lake Road. Walgreens are good too, there are a couple on I Drive on at Wet and Wild end and one up near Pointe.
