Help - New Phone

Need advice. Just upgraded to Nokia 6500 slide but all my photos are still on my old nokia phone. How do I get them off it?? New phone only has bluetooth and old one only infared. Can't text them to new phone as need 2 sims for that. Old one has no usb port (Its about 4 years old). really want the photos as it is of my DD when she was born.

Can you get them onto your PC? my phone has bluetooth so I copy all my photos from my phone onto the pc via bluetooth. i dont' know how infrared works, but if it's got a camera it must be possible to connect it to the pc somehow.

unfortunately PC not infared compatible. Tried everything I can think of.... it is driving me up the wall!

I sometimes have to copy info from phones at work and have found a couple of ways one if you have e-mail on the old phone and e-mail the info to another e-mail address.

I have found a cable from your PC to your Phone and using Nokia's new suite can copy info over into the software and then onto the new phone. If your phone is an older one you may get it done in one of the phone shops or do a search for nokia data cables . I think we got the one for work from a phone market stall for about £3.

My bf works for nokia. He said there isn't a way unless you have another sim card and send them over. It's about 36p per message, and it will make the picture a lesser size as well.
Only way will be....
Find someone who has a phone with both infra red and bluetooth, ask very kindly to borrow it, then infra red them over, then blue tooth them from that to the 6500.
Hope you can do that, as we had some precious photo's like that stolen along with the phone and it was very sad.
