please could someone tell me if I should buy my daughter a princess costume before I go or get it there, we are going to the princess breakfast at epcot. I know you can buy them at the disney parks. Do people get them over there or bring them from home, I know you can get some really cheap ones over here and also in walmart. What does everyone think!!!!:spin:

We got our daughter a few whislt we were over there last September, the ones you can buy in the parks were $60 but they were a lot prettier the the ones you can purchase in the Disney Store in the UK - it depends on your budget.

The costumes in the Disney Parks are lovely and different to the ones you can get here. They are expensive but.....

I like to get them there I haven't looked in Walmart yet but I intend to this year:wavey:

I guess I am mean, but we buy ours over here. My DD's have had costumes from the UK Disney store, the US disney store, Target, Woolworths and once WDW. The WDW dress got worn the least of any of them as it was very very scratchy. I also like that when we've bought dresses elsewhere they have been a little bit different from the ones every other kid is wearing. The picture in my avatar is from the US Disney store - it was a beautiful snow white dress, one of the nicest I've ever seen, and it cost me $25.

DD#1 has a lovely Jasmine outfit we got from the UK Disney store, much nicer than the one we saw at WDW. Katie's is pink and purple but the WDW one is a pale green, and again quite scratchy.

I would look over here, and if you see something you like then buy it and take it with you.

i also pick up Red and White polka dot dresses when I see them, we have had them from Asda and H&M, they always go down well when meeting Minnie.

My DD has dresses from the UK disney store, US disney store and WDW. All of her dresses get worn equally but the US ones are available up to a bigger size than the ones bought in the UK. Last year she found a Mulan dress in the US disney store which she has searched for for a long time so that came home with us. It has got to the point where I had to buy her a new wardrobe just for her dressing up dresses.

Lol, We bought an extra wardrobe to hold DDs dressing up clothes. Like yours she has outfits from everywhere. My DD is going searching for Mulan and Pocahontas this year. Her collection will be complete then. No doubt she will not want them after that as she is 9 past:)
I love the dresses at WDW and the girls little faces light up when they seen them:) Both came back with 2 new ones each and they have been worn lots, lol

Cheers for that:thumbs-up We did see the pocahontas in AK and decided to get it at another park. When we seen them again there were none in her size:erm: Mulan was definately not one we seen the whole trip so I will definately go to the Florida mall for it:)

We went to Walmart last trip and bought a beautiful Cinderella outfit for DD- she wore it to go to BBB and get photos done and must admit I would have no hesitation in going back to Walmart again- fraction of the cost of WDW and just as pretty:d::d:

we got giselle outfit (enchanted) from M&S - the film was just being released on DVD when we were there & we had loads of comments about how great she looked - even though my mum thought she looked like she was wearing curtains! She was OK once I explained that was the idea LOL!!! (I will upload but they are on desktop at mo!)

We had lots of comments about the costumes they wore from UK as many CM's hadnt seen them before. Here they are in Narnia outfits
