Read some recent posts which have blown MK on Sunday next week out of the water... Memorial Day is a Bank Holiday next weekend I believe and parks will be busy Sunday and Monday. Is this true? Same goes for beaches I believe...
How about the smaller parks, could ease into Florida gently with a Seaworld or Gatorland trip or even teeny tiny Dinoworld before a splash in the pool and some shopping???

I think thats a good way to be. Don't stress about the crowds just go with it and enjoy the atmosphere!!:spin:
We arrive on the Saturday and are doing IOA on the Sunday and then we are having a pool day/shopping day on the Monday and doing the Pirate and Princess Party on Monday evening.:thumbs-up
Have a lovely time everyone.

Hi Ya,
We fly out on Wednesday, and have planned memorial weekend like this - Friday :Magic Kingdom (we have B.B.B booked + a Character Dinner) Saturday :Hollywood Studios, Sunday :Pool + Shopping, Monday :Islands of Adventure.
I also used the Busy Day Guide and avoided E.M.H days to plan this so hopefully it will work out okay, if not so be it!!!
Have read in a previous post that the locals prefer to have days at the beach and bar-b-ques at home.
Hope this helps

OMG I never gave it a thought when we booked but maybe the local kids are already Disneyed out by the time we arrive As long as no sweetie is kicking my seat on the flight I will be happy If the parks are manic we will wallow by our pool so as we don't need to q for a Sunbed lol
We are staying at the WDW Swan for 3 nights anyone been what's it like for parking and how do you get to the parks do you have to pay to park?Never stayed so close before
