Hi - DH wants to go to Big cat rescue in Tampa so thought we could do the kids tour at 9am and then go to Busch. DD (aged 8) & I will stay at Busch and DH will go back to BCR for the afternoon feeding tour at 4.30pm. Is this feasible ? Anyone else done this ? Or has anyone done the behind the scenes Jungala tour at Busch ???

We did Big Cat Rescue and it was a very pleasant morning. We went on the tour round and it took a few hours.
Really enjoyed it.
We teamed it up with an afternoon shopping!

We were also thinking about visiting Big Cat Rescue but we have a small problem. DD is only 8 and there is an age restriction of 10 plus for the mid morning and afternoon tours.
Unfortunately, that is the only time we could manage. She is "big" 8 however and could pass for 10. I was wondering how strict they were and if push came to shove could we get away with passing her off as 10. Presumably there is no actual proof required?

we have been and they did ask for proof of age due to insurance etc, you have to sign a waiver on the way in incase a tiger mauls you LOL, I would say they are strict but that is only going from an adult entry we did not take any children with us:)

No idea how strict they are - did wonder about emailing them to ask if we could all come along at 4.30pm as DD is pretty well behaved and is almost 9 - but she is a small kid so could not pass for older.
