Which affects crowds more? Morning or evening EMH?

I was really hopimg to do Magic Kingdom and Wishes for my last night, but its Friday 1st August and MK has Evening EMH.

I could finish with Illuminations I suppose.

I haven't ever used EMH before as this is our first time staying onsite but I would have thought that mornings would affect crowd levels much more due to there being lots more people in the park early. If you really want to do Wishes then I would do it, whatever - just stay away from Main Street when watching the fireworks - way too crowded :omg:

It's got to be done - I think I'll just have to ignore the extra crowds and finish the holiday in the most magical way possible!

OMG Claire I am so jealous of your countdown!

We ALWYS utilize Morning EMH then leave that park as it tends to get packed. Evening EMH are PACKED. Go to the AM EMH's.

we are not staying onsite so are trying to avoid parks with EMH, whilst I have planned OK for the mornings I forgot to check the nights, and my Fantsmic night, Wishes Night and Illuminations clash with EMH. How much of a coincidence is that????

Depends very much on the time of year I find. Was pretty quiet this January just gone.
Much prefer the evenings myself, as you get a huge bottleneck of people all trying to get in at once in the mornings. Although great seeing the train arrive with the characters on to open the park.

My experience is that the morning park is quiet very early on but is rammed by 11am. The evening park seems busier in the afternoon and evening (probably because most Americans don't buy the hopper option and many will lie in if they have a late night ahead).

As it's your last night, it shouldn't matter much. I assume you wil go there on other occasions to do rides?? But do stake out a good spot early if this is your chosen finale moment.

If you are staying on site I would not exit the park as soon as Wishes ends - a huge throng of guests tend to do this no matter when the park closes as they are tired and have kept going until the big bang. I'd stay and wait for the big crowd to go.

If you are staying off site I guess the same applies - you can linger in Main Street USA for quite a while after park closing - you just won't be allowed to do any rides.

Enjoy!
