Any tips or advice with a little one of this age in the parks?

Rent a stroller, take your time, have plenty of fluids, don't be shy of going back to the hotel/villa for an afternoon siesta and then coming back again later to the park.
Try and avoid queues by getting in the park at opening time, using the fast passes at Disney and avoiding extra magic hours days.
Check out the best spots for watching the parades. It can be good to find the shady side of the main street, sit your child down, get them an ice cream and when the parade comes along put them on your shoulders.
And lastly, join in all the rides and shows with the three year old because, after all, the parent has to be with them (and don't look like your enjoying them too much yourself!!)

As above, but I'd suggest you either take your own pushchair or buy one at Wallmart (they're really cheap).
Don't "force" your little one into having a good time, when they get hot, tired & cranky it's time to go back for a sleep!

the only advice would be to let them set the pace, go with what they want to do and when.
Agree with taking your own stroller and there is a good chance that they will sleep at some point during the day giving you chance to do what you want to do.
We took our DD when she was just 4 and she loved it. At first she was a bit overwhelmed by the sixe, noise etc but once she had been on her first ride - Small World - she was hooked!! The characters can also be a bit off putting at first as they are huge. We took her to see a "person" first i.e. Jamine and Aladdin - rather than an animal character in full costume.
I'm sure you'll all ahve a great time -take loads of photos - the time will pass all too quickly!

Take spare clothes to the parks with you, there are often places to get wet which kids love and is great for them to cool down, but not so great when they have to suffer in soggy clothes if you go someone air conditioned afterwards.

Take you own pushchair and invest in a 'Shadeababe'. Keeps them cooler and stops them burning!!

Definitely take your own stroller as all the walking is tiring for 3 year olds.
Don't expect your child to enjoy all the rides, take it slowly introducing them to shows and slower rides first. You can get a feel for the kind of things they'll enjoy then.

Our dd has gone every year since she was 6 months, shes 3 now!
Funnily enough she's always loved the characters in costume, but doesn't like the 'people' ones!!!
we've always encouraged her to try rides etc, but if she really doesn't want to go on something, thats fine.
Make sure you have ID on you LO incase they get lost.
Agree with everyone else about taking your stroller. Try to get to the parks before opening - you can then enjoy quite a lot of rides before it gets too hot or busy. We headed back to our hotel in the afternoon for a swim/rest.

make sure you take some walking reigns.
3 sets of spare clothes recomended if your doing universal and IOA.
Have fun it's a magical age.

My dd turned 3 in feb and we went to WDW in April. she sat in the buggy most of the time, but behaved exceptionally well. She eate well, slept well and was not too grumpy after as late night!
No tantrums or running off. Kinda forgot she was only 3, she loved it all except "Its a bugs life and Mickeys Philharmonic" she didn;t like the 3d effects with things coming right towards your face.
