My ds 5 was bought some computer games at xmas by his big brother and a week later we bought a new computer but we now have vista rather than XP. We have tried downloading but it wont fully happen so i guess because it doesnt say compatible with Vista. Is there a way round this, just wondering if anyone knew.

I'm guessing the gamers here might find a bit more information useful (what sort of games, PC, etc)

Ok there is a way of convincing your computer that you are running Xp when in fact you have Vista.

Install the program as you would normally, then once it is installed, right click on the shortcut on the desktop.

Go to Properties.

Go to the tab marked compatibility.

Check the box mark run this program compatible with....

Use the drop down box to select XP.

Click apply and run the game.

Happy gaming.

Let me know if this does not work as there are a few other things you can try.

Glad to have helped!

Hope you get a shot on your computer when he goes to bed... failing that just think of the peace and quiet!
