This will be on again this year when we visit Epcot....

Has anyone done this and was it worth the money? I seem to remember there was lots of alcohol floating about but will be driving!

Any one any experience of this please??

We've been there for it a few times now, and we wouldn't miss it.

The food is served in small portions, just a taster and is only a few $. One year they had two Italian stands, and one was devoted just to chocolate desserts. I went to that one a few times :D

We went last year, really good atmosphere and great assortment of different nibble foods oh and booze  but i wasnt drivng, the only down side is that is packed and we took a family that had never been to epcot before and because it was so busy by 10.30 all fast passes for everything had gone for the day
Because we hadnt done soarin before we all decided to wait the 2 hours ( sorry to offend the 95% majority ) but i thought it was PANTS and we were on front seats, cant beat a bit of TEST TRACK anyday, so i would say if your going whilst its on leave 2 Days for Epcot

The Food and Wine is defo on this year. the Eat to the beat concerts have already been posted ( no Beach Boys this year though ) the event gets longer each year

I have been to this twice and never experienced a 'packed' Epcot .. what day did you go? I would defo not go on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday as the locals and weekenders will pack the place out ;) infact I tend to go for several evenings rather than days .. World showcase is better in the evening

We went last year and it was fantastic. We sampled food from many of the booths, some was great and some not so good, but everything was under $5 so it's a good opportunity to try things you've never had before. If you're on the DDP you can use snack credits for food samples.

We also did around 5 of the wine seminars. I loved these, they had speakers from certain wine producers or countries and you were given 3 or 4 wines to sample, best of all they are free and you don't get much free at Disney.

Like the poster above, Epcot wasn't packed when we were there. Queues for rides were normal for October, and the food booths were empty during the day, it only seemed to get busy in the evening. Avoid the weekends though as more locals than normal visit then.

We go every year and like to wander around and try some nibbles.
Never experienced a packed park on the days we have gone.
Will definitely be back there this year.

We have done Food & Wine festival twice and we absolutely love it - there's loads of yummy food to sample. We made the mistake of going on a Sunday last time and it was packed so like the others said avoid weekends.

So what is the best way to do this?

Do you pay the extra for this at the entrance to the park or do you just pay at each booth you fancy trying something?

you just pay at the booths.

I think you can use snack options for most of the booths if you have the DDP

an example from one of the past festivals

We loved it last year, a little Pinot Noir as an aperitive then a stroll around the world eating lots of lovely food and then a glass of pink moet to finish off the evening watching Illuminations. Perfect, especially as it was our first wedding anniversary. :inlove:

Each country has its own booth which has serves its traditional dishes and you order and pay for them there. :thumbs-up

We will be going. Really enjoyed it last time we were there. The Kelly's Strawberry Cider is gorgeous. We saw Sister Sledge last time. Can someone please post me a link to the Eat to the Beat list for this year? Thanks x

We loved it last year. The Beach Boys were playing, but it was queued for a good while beforehand. We preferred to go round the world and sample the delicious food/wine and beer. The Sam Adams session and stall were very good, as was all of the food. Wasn't too busy until the Illuminations, then it was fairly busy.
