im sure this will have been posted before.im thinking of buying a laptop from walmart.they have some great deals on the website.will it be ok in the uk.???

yes no problem we got a great deal one year we were there, just got a laptop bag as part of the deal and brought it home as hand luggage, we have never had one bit of trouble with it. It is a Sony Vio;)

I don't think many people declare them to be honest !

I know it's chance you take but i've been loads of times and most of the time no one is even there when you land.


Remeber if you buy a USA laptop some keys won't be the same as they would be on a UK keyboard.

Also you may need to get a new mains lead of ebay.

We bought one in December. Could have bought it slightly cheaper in Walmart but bought it in Best Buy because the guy there seemed to really know his stuff and changed the keyboard for us and gave us a actual copy of microsoft softwear rather than just uploading it.

Hi where is best buy? Also what kind of laptop should we be looking for? We just use the computer for surfing the net and office applications and downloading music.

hi we also bought one last year from best buy, they installed antivirus for us and again gave us the microsoft softwear, had no problems coming back home with it...
