The day we had our wishes cruise booked last year was the worst day of the holiday weatherwise. It rained heavily with thunderstorms all day. It had calmed down a bit at about 7pm and Wishes went ahead although there was still a steady drizzle. Disappointing but we still enjoyed it.
I don't know what the conditions need to be for them to cancel it though:(

We've got piccies from 2005 of lightening and fireworks, the only bit that seemed to be off was the tinkerbell flying across the park to the castle.

Was really heavy rain one evening in Jan when we were there and it still went ahead. Can't say we saw much though sheltering in a shop as we were!!!!!

Our Illuminations Cruise was in danger of being called off because of the risk of storms nearby. Luckily everything went to plan, hope yours does too. I know Fantasmic is canceled if there is a risk of storms.

We did have our illuminations cruise cancelled last time due to bad weather. Were due to share with another dibber, it was a real shame :(
Illuminations did actually go ahead, but it wasn't the same watching it in the pouring rain in a deserted park.

The majority of the time the rain will have passed by Wishes time. I have seen Wishes during light drizzle. Most likely the rain will pass by that time of evening.
