we stayed in the marriott suites at sand key an loved them. You have 2 rooms, one with 2 queen size beds and a living room with a sofa bed. You have great views of the intercoastal waterway, where we saw dolphins, and a view of the beach on the other side.:cool2:

I've stayed in Best Western Seawake inn a few times and thought it was very nice place.

We have booked 2 nights at The Hilton Clearwater for 3 adults and 1 child.( my kids are 12 and 11yrs, classed as adult at 12 yrs:()
The best price I could find at the time was £165 ( for 2 nights)for a quadruple harbourside room which was one of the more expensive rooms but we thought we would splash out a little this time.
Last time, we stayed at the Travelodge on South Gulf Blvd and I hated it and didn't feel safe, the room was really pokey and it smelt really bad. It probably didn't help matters that I was really poorly at the time and we left after 1 night.Nothing wrong with the staff, they were very nice, just the standard of the rooms, Well,it was pretty cheap!
I've booked The Hilton through http://www.xcapewithus.com.
We went with The Hilton after reading good things on The Dibb and most seemed to enjoy their visit.
By the way we are going 20th-22th October this year
Hope this helps:wave:

Another vote for the Marriott on Sand Key! We loved it. Saw dolphins from the balcony

Hi
We are staying at the Holiday Inn Clearwater Beach, we have stayed there before but when it was a Ramada. We booked all our hotel accomodation for this holiday (Orlando, Sarasota, Treasure Island & Clearwater) through travel republic and saved ourselves around £300 on the total cost than going direct or with other travel agents.

I am sure you will have a great time, wherever you decide!

Sea Captain Resort, little Motel over looks the harbour and has a loveley little pool and spa, rooms are loveley and clean and if you are staying at weekend they do a continental breakfast for you. About £60.00 per night. Been three times and would not stay anywhere else.
