If i was unable to go one year or i did not want to go could i let someone else use my points such as grandparents.
Thanks
Sure you can - you just make the booking for them. You can also rent out your points to others, if you choose. The going rate is $10-11.

Yep, we allowed my best friend and his new wife to use our points for their honeymoon. There's no problem with it at all.
When we have spare points we rent them out to help towards the annual dues.
When we have spare points ......
What's a spare point? No such thing, only 'not enough points' :pgig:

What do you mean rent them out?
If i was to ley someone use say 160 points i would charge them $1600?

Or a touch more, yes. They pay you, and then you then make a booking with DVC for them for the number of points you've rented out to them.
(Do you have some points this year you'd like to rent out, perchance?)

Just a reminder
DVC points can not be advertised here on the DIBB.

I think usually it is the other way around. LOL.
