I've lost the whole row of icons from the top of my message composing box on the DIBB - the line of things like Bold, Italic, Insert Image/Link, Spellcheck, switch to tag-display, etc has vanished. Is it me, or has anyone else got this problem?

I've still got them on mine, on both quick reply and advance reply. Unsure what could have caused yours to disapear.

Hmm, just checked using the Lappy too, and using "DIBB" and "Fluid" Styles, no buttons anywhere.

OK, who's got an extra set of buttons! :)

Look, no buttons! They're there on the ... (erm, that "other Disney place"). Same problem in Basic or Advanced editor mode. How odd!

try a different browser incase yours has it's cache corrupt. I've seen problems like this with IE7 but not this particular one.

Are the buttons there when you use the normal reply rather than the Quick reply ?

The buttons are missing in all the editor modes (this one is being typed in Quote) and it's the same on the Lappy, so it's unlikely to be a cache issue. Will try Firefox.

[Edit: Same in Firefox]

Andre. This was a bug in the mobile style. If you switched to that and switched it back again it caused this.

You will need to go into usercp and edit options. Misc Options > Message Editor Interface and switch it back to Standard rather than basic.

Just had a thought... yesterday I noticed that my DIBB Options picture display mode had for some reason reverted to Default, so I put it back to "Enlarge in same Window" which I usually use.

I've just tried changing that mode back to Default, but the icons have not re-appeared with either picture mode set. I think that's the only interface change I've made recently though.

It's a puzzle!

(got to go out for a few hours now, will check back later)

Bingo, thanks Simon. You're right, it had switched back to Simple Editor rather than my usual WYSIWYG editor. I haven't tried Mobile mode for a week or so though, how odd I should only notice it this morning.

The mobile style has been fixed now not to do this as you cannot get to your profile in that style now.

Thanks for that. I guess the change in picture mode from 'Expand-in-Window' to 'Default' was probably due to the same issue then. Cheers Simon & Stu.
