Hi everyone

After reading, laughing and crying at some of the posts for a few weeks, I decided to post as I go back to Florida in 1 Week 1 Day. I thought I was the only big kid who got excited about going but this site is brill. What is it about Disney that sets your heart a racing.

Kids think I'm mental but I don't care!!!

Thank you to everyone who has posted some really usefull info. I'm so glad I'm not alone.:D

Re what gets your heart racing at Disney, apart from just about everything some of my favs are:-

(1) Seeing your childs or anybodys child for that matter face explode with joy when they first see one of their fav characters.
(2) Waiting for Spectromagic and the music starts up, always a buzz
(3) Seeing Tinkerbell fly at end of fireworks at MK

But the one that really gets me going is on returning to MK at start of holiday, crossing the lake on the paddle steamer and Cinderellas Castle comes into sight. Goosies everytime.

Pretty cheesy I guess but who cares.

i know what you mean, we also have just 8 days to wait, we are flying first choice from manchester and i am sooo excitted too, i have been packed for weeks, just adding to it every day, ( and weighing the cases, to keep plenty of room weight to bring back a pile of stuff )
the thing thats gets me excited is when i see the disney archway over the road to MGM and micky saying " buckle up" on the bll boards, oh and seeing the micky ears telegraph pole on the I4.... ( not quite a hidden micky )hehe
oh now look what you've done, i'm over excited and i won't sleep tonight now.
PS. i'm over 40 and should know better !!!!!!!:d::d:
