Hi Guys,

We're staying at Fairfield Inn at the marriott village, on the virgin website they state there are free transfers to WDW, does anyone know anything about them? can't find anything on their own website. Times....busyness etc?

Also is there an easy (but inexpensive) way to get to seaworld/premium outlets/Universal? Lynx bus or anything.

Trying to work out if we can get away with having a car for 5 or 6 days instead of the whole duration.:erm:

Cheers

It's a long time since I stayed there (just over 4 years) but when I did the transfers to Disney were by coach and there were 2 or 3 in the morning and the same in the evening.

You can walk to Premium Outlets from there, took me around 10 minutes, and usually for the US there are pavements all the way. From there you can catch buses that take you to other areas.

I stayed there for a week without a car and had no problems, there is a Bahama Breeze, Golden Corral and Carrabas that are all walkable for evening meals too.

Thanks Jill that's really helpful,

I didn't realise you could walk safely to the premium outlets...i can see myself spending a fair bit of time there!!

I can vaguely remember we got an I ride somewhere near premium last time so that may be useful... not sure if it'll be bearable in the middle of August after a long day at the parks etc. Last time we didn't have a car but we were onsite so had the transportation system.

Thanks again
