post counts

Sorry to sound silly but can anyone explain post counts to me ?:wave:

Post counts, although recorded in the database that underpins the DIBB, are not displayed to users. This is to stop people merely posting rubbish in an effort to boost their post count. Of course, people just do that to boost their ear status instead now ;)

Up until you have made 500 posts you can figure out how many you've made by clicking on your name and selecting 'Find more posts by ojoboots'. After 500 posts, it all becomes a big mystery.
