American Football and basketball gear

My son wants a New York Giants football shirt and Chicago Bears basketball shirt.

Does anyone know the best place(s) for this kind of gear?

Not sure where you're staying but if you're visiting the Gulf, there is a shop at John's Pass which sells all that kind of stuff.

I'd be interested to know where in Orlando sells it because my DS loves that gear.

Our boys managed to buy a couple of tops at Premium Outlets and LBV Factory Stores, but for ones that they particularly wanted, we took them to Sports Dominator on I-Drive where they seem to all teams, just a bit more money than at the Outlets.

We saw heaps of baseball and football gear in Sports Dominator and we also found a small specialist shop in the Florida Mall (we were looking for NHL gear but couldn't find any!!!).

I don't feel silly - I don't claim to know anything about American sport:d::d: but my son does! :blush:

We got some football shirts in a sports store in the florida mall but i cant remember the name of it now. :S

The Reebok outlet store had a decent selection of shirts.

There was a big sports store in one of the main malls that had a good selection too - plenty of Buccs jerseys.

Worth bearing in mind that all NFL shirts are made by Reebok so their outlet store should carry a lot of gear.

Another vote for the Reebok shop at Premier Outlets. DH's first stop on any trip is here - and he always ends up with some great NFL and MLB stuff. He's not in to NBA so I can't say whether there was much NBA stuff!

My brother picked up some New York Giants stuff in Sports

Another vote for Sports Dominator - you can't miss it as it has a massive American Football helmet at the entrance! I played AF in the US for a few years for a UK Team & we bought some shirts from there at a reasonable price the Giants are a popular team so you shuld have no problem picking up what you want! The Reebok store also has a wide selection albeit a little more pricey.

Does the NBA restaurant at Citywalk have a shop in it that may sell shirts?

Yeah the NBA restaurant in Citywalk does have a shop inside which sells t shirts, game shirts etc. It had quite a good selection of stuff. Also one of the disney stores in dtd had a good range of sports stuff. Lots of florida based team stuff both nba, mlb and nfl. Also had a good range of college team merchandise especially caps.

Last year we were looking for miami dolphin tops, and a lot of the sports shops sell them but as we were going to watch a game in Miami we got the tops from the stadium and the shop had a sale on as well so even better, i love the NFL worth going to watch a game in the states if you can the atmosphere is fab, we also went to wembley last year but not quite the same atmosphere.

Personally when I go back I want to get my hands on a Gators basketball jersey, anyone know where they sell these? I don't think I have ever seen one. I mamaged to pick up a Gators football shirt last year in a shop in the Florida Mall, 60 bucks.
