New Target store being built!

Hi

When I was over there last month a sign went up along the 192 towards the West side opposite the Town Center Pubix area announcing a new Super Target!

Not sure when it'll open as I can't find any info about it on the web but this is very good news as it means they'll be a Super Target at the 27 end of the 192 as well as at the other end.

Does anyone else have any more information on this?

It's right outside Orange Lake country club, took a few pictures of it and the coming soon sign. Will see if I can find them amongst my 2000+ I took. :confused2

Yep, unfortunately they were only in the process of clearing the site, no building had started. Having said that this was a few weeks ago now and they seem to build things in about 3 days over there!

Just been told its going to be a 300,000 sq ft complex with a cinema possible.

This is Rolling Oaks Commons and the Target is due for opening spring 2009 .There is a site plan but it doesn't have the names of any further stores on it yet but you can see the cinemas marked

thats great news for our folks coz super target is one of the fav shops and we usually stay not too far from this area so won't have a long journey to get to it, ;)

From the pdf in dismums link it looks like it is on the East side of the 429 going towards Formosa gardens.

Thanks dismum! Looks like it's going to be good. About time there were some decent shops up that end of the 192!!

Possibly the newest Target to open is over at Posner Park near junction 55 on I4. It's only Target but it is still huge. Spent an hour or 4 in there in the last couple of weeks. It took about 6 months or so to throw up so guessing you should see this one back end of the year if they have broken ground.

Posnor Park is also coming along so well and it will be the biggest in the whole area, we were just talking what it was comparable to and couldn't think. It's in a great position for the homes on the CR54/US27 especially when the cinema and restaurants come to town as it's only about 5 mins from us and not much further from the homes further down the 27 or 192 area as it's dead central and everything is in one place, that's what I love about shopping in the US!

Just need to get them to put a ST somewhere in on the 27 now!
