We popped into UPS by publix on the 192 on Friday to enquire.. The guy said a 10kg box at 16 by 16 looking at $300... :confused2
10kg seems alot to me for just extra stuff to send home? Maybe you'd need a third of that?

Yup 16" x 16". They had smaller and some alot larger. Maybe Fedex would be cheaper ?

Zoinks! Thats $30 per Kilo, It will only cost you half of that to bring it home with you and pay the airport surplus charge!!

We boxed up and sent 10 kilo of our old summer clothes and shoes back via snail mail. Took six weeks but as we went in September we didn't need them urgently. Cost just under $50.

If you dont mind me asking, who did you use to send your items back?

Be aware that using this method could still attract a charge from customs as well as an additional charge for the extra paper work.

We used usps to post back two empty ipod boxes and various receipts for other stuff we bought in florida and the cost was $12.62 and it took 10 days to reach us back at home.

We just used the regular post office by the Walmart on the US27, Cagans Crossing. The postal worker said just fill in the form on the outside with contents as 'used clothing' and there would be no customs charge. And there wasn't.
