Hi,

Hoping someone on here can help because you're usually brilliant at solving my techie problems. We used to use Pinnacle to produce dvd's of our holidays but now we have vista our old version won;t work and the newer versions of Pinnacle all seem to have bad reviews. We have started to use windows moviemaker but have a problem. If we have two movie clips together when it goes from on to the other it seems to jump back to a previous image just for a fraction of a second and there is a definite noise before it carries on. It doesn't happen if moving to/from a still picture or if we use a transition but there are times when we want to go straight from one clip to the next (they are usually not continguous so we can't combine them). The computer is new with a 500gb hard drive (of which we have only used a fraction), 4Gb RAM and runs vista home premium.

Any suggestions - please.

Thanks

You must have moved the previous clip around abit by mistake. Go through your movie clip by clip you probably have a odd frame or two hanging around. Just delete them.

I have recently used Windows movie maker for out company's promotional video and had the same problem.

Thanks but it is happening even when we just put a new clip straight on to the end of the previous one without changing either in any way. Also we cannot find a way of deleting individual frames within a project - we seem to have movie maker version 6 if that helps??
