where to eat Before MNSSHP?

I'm thinking of booking a Resort Restaurant for our pre Halloween Party Dinner!
That way as i understand it, we can leave the car parked there & monorail into The Magic kingdom(We're staying off site) which will make it easier on leaving!
So, any suggestions where to eat?
We're a party of 2 adults & 2 kids(3 & 14)

The character interaction is excellent and so is the food.

We ate at Chef Mickey's before the Pirate & Princess Party which worked very well, valet park and you will have no problems leaving your car as long as you need to. Self parking at the resort is very limited due to the building work there.

When you park there they may only give you a three hour parking permit, but if you valet park (at an extra cost) then you will not be limited by that three hours.

Not really wanting a character dinner so any more suggestions please?
chef mickeys does seem nice though!
