Have you any suggestions on where to get a sandwich from other than subway or quiznos around the 192
You can get them made up in Publix supermarket. I think they are on the sub type rolls and you pick what you want on them at the deli counter.

Pizzasafari in AK has a great hot deli sandwich. Always been my favourite. Making me dribble even thinking about it now:tounge:
Another vote here for the ones at Publix and also Earl of Sandwich. Fabulous place and also try their tomato soup and croutons. Yummy. We also love the beef or pork sandwiches at The Flame Tree Bbq at Animal Kingdom. Earl of Sandwich is our favourite though out of the three. :-)

The menu looks great - but how big are the sandwiches? Are they snack size kind of thing you get in petrol stations or are these serious sandwiches like the sub's you get at Subway?

Another vote for Publix and the Earl of Sandwich (although not liking mayonnaise or dressing, their breakfast bacon, egg and cheese has my vote :thumbs-up)

So you aren't confused, if you go to Publix they will ask you if you want Boars Head or not. Boars Head is the brand of meat/cheese that they have which is considered the premium and is favored by most people. I always buy Boars Head meats and prefer them but there is nothing wrong with the other brands. There will be a small difference in price since the meat/cheese is premium. The menu board shows the pricing so you will be able to pick what you want.
Another local favorite for subs is a place called Firehouse Subs. They are like Subway, Sobkis and Quizno's. There is one in Kissimmee on 192/Vine which is further east on 192 so it might be far out depending on where you are staying.
We often have subs from Publix and have had their own brand meat in them and the Boar`s Head brand meat in them. They have always tasted nicer with the Boar`s Head meat in them so now we always have that one. It`s not much more expensive either, only a little bit, and well worth it IMHO. :-)
