:wavey:Dining with Shamu is good if you have kids. they get to see the whales close up in a restaurant at the back of the arena. Foods not too bad either, got usual fayre for the kidlets and is buffet style. Our boys enjoyed it

Haven't done either of the others but highly recommend Dine with Shamu, it's fantastic.

As far as I'm aware these are all basically the same eating 'experience'.

The buffet (all you can eat & drink including Bud products) is good & you get to watch killer whale(s) close up whilst your dining with commentary & get to chat with a trainer afterwards.

The only difference is the show that takes place directly after the dinner - depending on time & season ..... but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong ;)

Hi

Just checked again, the Shamu Rocks one says you have reserved seats in the arena. It reads like you have this buffet then get taken to your seats for the show.

Backstage at Believe sounds similar, eat and then talk with trainers then VIP seating for the show

Dine with Shamu, it doesnt say that you go into the arena, so you sit and eat whilst the show is on ?

Sorry for all the questions

Lots of thumbs up for dine with Shamu.

Do you do this when the show is on ? Also its says seating 1, does anyone know what this means ? Is it a time ? or where you sit ?

ok, just checked dates and the Shamu Rocks buffet is out as its not available when we go so that leaves the backstage one or dine with shamu and going by the reviews Dine With Shamu is getting i will probably go with that.

What i cant find though is when to turn up :erm: I have went all the way to checkout and it doesnt say a time.

Anyone help ?

Have you booked. I am having the same problem, just not sure which to book. Do you get VIP seating for the show with Dine with Shamu?

Dine with Shamu is where you eat at a backstage poolside area whilst the trainers and whales do a demonstration in the pool in front of you. The trainers will talk you through a typical day, how they teach the whales etc. Really good and informative. You can also ask questions and talk with the trainers personally afterwards. You don't get any priority seating for any of the shows with this one, however.

Priority seating for the Shamu Rocks show is with the Shamu Rocks dinner buffet.

Dine with Shamu is really good - Trainer and whales do a demonstration and there is a buffet meal.

We had a dining table at the very front pool side and it was great the whale came right up. If it is possible sugest in your booking that you would like a table closer to the pool. We found the tables a little squashed together but was great fun!

Enjoy!

Thanks for the advice. The back stage believe is a lot cheaper and you also get VIP seating for the show and the buffet. still unsure!!!

Hi

For me it looks like i have to do dine with shamu as the buffet with the VIP seating is not an option for us when we go, its not coming up with dates.

I emailed Seworld to ask if it was becasue dates are sold out or just not released yet as their par hours were also not available.

Im still waiting to hear back from them.

We did it on 13th May. We didn't arrive at the park until about 1/2 hour before dining and I also forgot to bring my email confirmation but we just went to dining reservation desk near the entrance and they give me the ref to quote.
You stand at a gate and wait but try to be close to the start of the queue as you get nearer the poolside then.
We then went and seen the show but we didn't get VIP seats just had to make our own way round.

Brill thanks for that.

I couldn't get my head around not being given a time

Will probably book this one today as i am fed up waiting on SeaWorld getting back to me, thats 2 emails i have sent in the matter of a couple off weeks with no reply to either.

I will make sure we arrive nice and early.

Thanks again :thumbs-up

it doesn't matter how early you arrive at the venue, your table is reserved WHEN you book. we were one of the last groups into the dining area as we had been held up on the Shamu express :pgig::pgig: but we were still taken to our poolside table:thumbs-up
