Has anybody been to the Makahiki Luau Dinner at SeaWorld? how long does it last and was it worth going as it seems very cheap compared to other Dinners.

we looked at it but decided to go with dine with shamu. iv read reports on al sorts of sites and this seems to be the most popular dining experience with the best animal and trainer interaction

We've been to Dine with Shamu twice and have decided that we just want someone different this time.

We went back in Nov 2006 for my mum's birthday and loved it. The cocktails (first one is free) and food is amazing. DH STILL rants about their ribs, which were wonderful. The entertainment is great. The whole thing lasted til around 9pm, though there was no rush to leave. We would absolutely recommend it.:thumbs-up

I've done Dine with Shamu and the Makahiki Luau and loved both. The food was good but the entertainment was 1st class in my opinion. there are photos in my trip report ( link below ) if you want to have a look
