Late lunch before MNSSHP?

Hi, DBF and I will be going to MNSSHP the day after we arrive in Orlando staying at the Poly. This will be our only visit to MK this time due to doing on a disney cruise and so wanted to get there as early as our ticket will allow which I believe is 4pm. We have previously dined at Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern and in the castle and to be honest i wouldn't be in a rush to do any of them again as far as the food is concerned. It wasn't bad, but for the money it wasn't great either.

Therefore our plan was to spend the day up to 4pm making the most of the Poly and have a late table service lunch prior to entering MK and then just grab something counter service later on.

However, on trying to book late lunch at Grand Floridean Cafe I was advised that latest lunch seating is 1.40pm and earliest dinner is 5pm. We were hoping to eat about 3pm ish. Does anyone know if this is possible at any of the monorail resorts table service restaurants?

Kona Cafe right at the Poly was excellent last time we went down and I think they serve lunch until 3pm. which my understanding means that they take reservations for lunch until 3pm

Thanks for the reply. I had thought about Kona but we will have been there for Breakfast and we really wanted to try somewhere new. We might just have to go for the 1.40pm reservation at GF Cafe after all as I really would like to try there. I guess we could do the pool in the morning, get ready and go for lunch and then hire a boat for an hour until its party time :spin:.
