Where to get a nice dress in Florida?

I am wanted to get a couple of posh dresses while in Florida because i have a wedding and my 21st when I get back.

Where is the best place to look?? I don't want to go miles away so I am hoping that someone could recommend me a shop in one of the malls or somewhere there are shops for the rest of my family to look at too :grin:

I think I am wanted a short prom style dress for one of them and i am not sure what style for the other one :grin:

Any links would be gratefull appreciated too :wave:

I would try saks 5th ave at the florida mall.......I have to be honest I have never looked for a formal dress while in the states, however try all the big dept stores, like macys, sears etc also you might find something there!! good luck

At christmas we went looking for a prom dress for my daughter and they had some nice ones in Macys and not too expensive other than that if you do a search on google for prom dresses there are loads of shops that sell them, we got my daughters prom dress from a bridal shop and half the price what you would pay here. Hope you find something.

Dress Barn at LBV outlets had some lovely ones and they do a range of sizes. :)

First place I'd look is Macy's. You'll get 11% off the price (even if it is on sale) if you go to customer service with your passport. This is valid on everything in the store except cosmetic and fragrance.

Dillard's would probably be my 2nd choice but really any of our department stores would be worth looking at.

If you need something other than the department stores I would suggest going to David's Bridal (http://davidsbridal.com/index.jsp). I've made this suggestion to other Dibbers and I know that several have bought from David's. They really have a good selection and the price has always been good too.
