I have a 5:30 ADR, how long should i expect to be seated for as i would like to book a Carridge Ride back at POR for that evening since we will be dressed up, (Shhhh dont tell kaz)

I know the last one of the evening is 9:30, i dont want to book early and feel rushed at the meal, plus i would like a look aroung the grand floridian too, we have no plans for that day really so could turn up for the ADR early and have a look around then but may look silly in a suit @ 5pm in 100 Degree heat. lol..

I may try Valet parking for the 1st time too.

I would certainly use valet parking, it is complimentary if you are eating at V&A (apart from the tip). I would allow at least 2 - 2 1/2 hours.

We were in there for at least 2½ hours and they won't rush you if you need longer.
I personally would book the last carriage ride of the evening at POR just to make sure you were back in time and not had to rush. :thumbs-up

Thanks, i never new that,
Is there Valet at the contemporary as on our last night we have chef mickeys for dinner then into MK for the rest of the night, EMH that evening so may be a late one, never been in MK past 11pm before or been on a ride past 9pm so should be interesting.
I prosume i can get the monorail back to the contemporary at 12 - 1am? And that the valet service would still be running?
I have never stayed in a luxury resort before.

Thanks

There is valet parking at the Contemp, but you will have to pay for it (unless you have a DDE card). Monorails runs until; the park closes, you can also walk from MK to the Contemp.

If I remember rightly we were there about 2 1/2 - 3 hours give or take but it was just before Christmas day and that was a party of 4 for our friends 25th Wedding Anniversary.

We too were in V&A's for about 3hrs. Our ADR was fro 6:30 and we were stadning on the dockside at GF feeling very plump at about 9:30.

The trip report can be found here (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=1923386#post1923386) if you dont mind drooling over it that is.... I bet you'll feel hungry if you do read it ...so you've been warned ;)

We too made use of the complementary valet parking.....well worth it if you have the wine parings as the trip report suggests!

I'm sure that you'll both enjoy V&A's we certainly did!
