We're staying at the Champions Gate Hotel on Masters Blv so we're about twenty minutes away from the parks. We're only Bed and Breakfast so we've got to buy all our meals apart from breakfast. We're planning on having as much to eat first thing then a snack lunch and then dinner at different places. Can anyone suggest good places to eat which are good value for money? They don't have to be near the hotel as we will, more then likely, eat on the way back from the parks.
Thanks everyon:spin:e.

We liked going to Perkins for some of our evening meals. They have restaurants scattered around and serve a variety of food:-mainly burgers, club sandwiches, but they also have specials on as well. Our food bill including a tip for 4 of us(all adult meals)was approx $60.:thumbs-up

Try the all you can eat buffets - especially for breakfast. Golden Corral are about $7 with extra for a drink (prob $1.50)

Others are much cheaper - Pondarosa are about $4.99

We usually are too full up to think of lunch!

You can go to buffets in the eveninng too - probably pay around $10 for a buffet with steak in Pondarosa

Have a look at Golden Corral, pondarosa and Sizzlers websites to give you an idea on the sort of food there.

Out of the 3 Golden Corral seems to be the favourite on the Dibb.

Hi

Chilis, Red Lobster and Olive Garden are all lovely places to eat. Chilis are mexican themed but also do a lovely steak! Red Lobster do steaks, chicken and seafood and Olive Garden are Italian. We paid roughly between 3 of us (2 adults and 1 child) £20 - £30 for all three for main meal (salads and bread inc) each, usually two desserts and unlimited soft drinks. All 3 do a childs menu as well. Hope this is of some help. There is an Olive Garden on the 192 and I believe one on International Drive as well and various Chilis and Red Lobsters scattered on the 192 and nearby. You can find them all on Mapmans map if you have got one if not would def recommend buying one! We found ti invaluable to find all the restaurants dibbers talk about!

We usually look at the restaurant websites and stick in the local zip code. That will bring up the restaurant nearest to you then I've stuck them in my favourite list

Just looking at Chilis now actually...you can get a 8oz sirloin with two sides and garlic bread for about £6.50 Ribs are £8 with 2 sides.

For good cheap food I don't think you can go wrong with IHOP. ;)

For a nice meal I'd recommend Pacino's which is on the 192 opposite Old Town.

Funnily enough, I've never heard anyone on the Dibb recommend this restaurant but we love it.

We loved Sweet Tomatoes. For 2 adults and 2 kids it was roughly $40 for an all you can eat and drink buffet.

In addition to the above there are some places closer to "home".

Mannys chops house south on the US27

Crackerbarrel south of the I4

At Championsgate

Chillis, Tuscana grill bar has just opened (just behind chillis) and an Italian.
For a bit more expensive meal try one of the restaurants at the Omni Resort, there is upgrade sports bar type place (Davids club) but there is a Asian/Japanese (Zen) and an Mediterranean/ Italian (Trevi’s) as well.

The newish Posner centre (just south of the US27/I$4 junction will also have some places to eat but I don't know too many details just yet.

I'm sure this is going to sound really really dumb but i have to ask...what is IHOP? It's mentioned all the time on here but i haven't got a clue!

thanks, Amy :)

International House of Pancakes.

Open 24/7 and good decent grub. It's nothing fancy but we like it! Lots dotted around... google it ;)

Thanks Everyone.
Given us some ideas. Don't want to spend all our money on food, so what we can save is great.
