If you mean Dine with Shamu then yes done it twice, it is very nice, plenty of food choice and all drinks from beer to coffee included... Well worth doing, it is advisable to do it when weather is warmer though ..

We fancy doing the shamu rocks dinner buffet too, I have read some good reviews on here, this is different from the dine with shamu.

We've done dine with Shamu and loved it, plenty of food, good choice for main and dessert, and being that close to Shamu is amazing. Well worth the money.

Done both Shamu Rocks and Dine with Shamu (they are different dinners). Loved both of them. Food is the same buffet at both. Dine with... has a talk and demonstration with the whales and trainers whilst you eat, then the trainer comes around to answer questions/talk to you personally.

At Shamu Rocks the whales were just allowed to play/have free time in the pool in front of us and the trainers did nothing. However, we were escorted after the meal to reserved seating in the stadium and allowed to take any unfinished drinks/coffees etc with us. Shamu Rocks is a brilliant show, probably my favourite at Seaworld and not having to wait in the stadium for an hour beforehand just to get a seat makes it even better!

Sorry, can I ask another question - roughly what time do you sit down for the buffet? Did you make it to Mystify afterwards or was it too late.

Thats fine Paula. We had the buffet at approx half 6 and so saw the 8.15 Shamu show I think. Can't remember the exact times I'm afraid. We'd been at Seaworld all day and so decided not to stay for Mystify as we were too tired but loads of people were finding a good spot for it!

Should have said, I think there are 2 options for Shamu rocks at peak season, so you could see a show later than ours (9.15 possibly) and then I imagine pretty much as soon as that finishes Mystify starts.

You're welcome! And completely agree with you, wish I'd found it before our first Florida holiday! :)
