Ok,
My first and in my most important question, as I'm a self confessed pig!
Where in Orlando / Kissimmee / Surrounding Areas do you get the biggest meals for your dollars?
I'm not the worlds greatest fan of chinese buffets, more into bbq's, steaks, ribs etc.
If you've got any web links to any suggested places then I'd love to whet my appetite before we make it out there.
Thanks guys and gals

Hi Chrizzler and welcome to the boards!
Large portions yes - ooh err missus ;)
Now, where to start? quality or quantity?
If you want to fill your boots, try a buffet style eatery.
In individual restaurants you'll generally not be disappointed with portion size compared to what we get over here.
There are a couple of places that do a Steak Challenge (i.e 6lb challenge at Frontier Steakhouse Cattle Company) but you'll need to hike over to Tampa for that one.

If you want to fill your boots then you may enjoy buffets, you can order steaks, ribs etc as a main course but then you have the choice of the buffet too and it's HUGE. You could just have the buffet and be full and it's really cheap too!
Sizzlers and Ponderosa do buffets, but you'll get mixed reviews of the quality of thefood. We've found that the buffets in Lake Buena Vista are generally better than I-drive, but having said that for the amount you pay they we personally LOVE THEM!
Sizzlers is fantastic...ice cream for breakfast. YUM YUM! :D
Welcome to the Dibb too!

Definately the Golden Corral best buffet by far:grin:
We love eating nachos with melted cheese, jalapenos, salsa and sour cream etc. Without doubt the biggest portion we had was in ESPN at Disney's Boardwalk. The portion was really huge and it was just a starter. We were embarrassed that we couldn't order a main meal. And it was only a starter between us. I'm assuming the rest of their portions are the same? $8 I think it cost.
Definitely going back there. Plus a PS2 at the table to keep the kids happy.

Mine are mixed eatters but the greneral thumbs up went to Golden Coral, followed by sweet tomatoes.
both sizzlers (great name for cold food) and the pondagrosa would never make it onto our shortlists after our last trip.
Ideal for those that want cheap and quantity or on a tight budget.
