Anyone out there been to the Yak and Yeti in Animal Kingdom?
What sort of food do they serve?
Is it expensive?
Any advice would be great, Thanks:wavey:

Hi
We ate there last month. Was really looking forward to it as I thought the menu looked really good, however for the price I was a little disappointed as I think I prefer the food in the China quick service at Epcot which is very similar and about a third the price.
The menu is quite varied - Pan asian influenced. Stir frys, dim sum etc.
I think I made a bad choice as everyone else enjoyed theirs. We're eating there again next month to give it another chance. I think the meal was also tainted as they mixed our order up and gave me brown rice and gave my sticky rice to another of our party. When I mentioned this to the waitress she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off - no offer to bring me out the rice I actually ordered!!

We were there last months as well. It was one of the better Disney meals we had. I had the ribs and the DW had the duck. Very nice. The DDs had whatever they had everywhere else. Service good. The main thing I recall though is being freezing cold. We had been on Kali river rapids immediately before and had got wet, and the aircon was working at its usual strength.
We were there at the end of the day, and the park had closed when we left. However, all the characters were still outside signing autographs with no queues (!) which made it nicer.

No characters. It is located in the Asia section of the park so therefore has an Asian theme.
