View Full Version : Universal Express - valid on all rides/shows?
Hi there, our countdown is well and truly on now!!:D
We're staying at a Universal hotel for one night during our holiday and will therefore get a Universal Express pass for that day and the following (whole puropose of the stay!). Can anyone tell me please, does this pass apply to all the rides and shows or are there exceptions? Also, if there are exceptions, where can I find out about these?
Cheers
I was under the impression that this covers all rides & attractions, I'm looking to book one night too for the same purpose but if there are restrictions then I probably won't book it.
just took this off universals site

I thought the Front of Line passes were on your room key when staying at a Universal Hotel..... and the express tickets were something anyone could buy at the gate?

You are correct, the OPs terminology was wrong.
Hope this doesnt lead to confusion for other dibbers thinking of booking one of the Universal hotels....
Dave..
there is one exception at ioa and that is the pteranodon flyers as this has no express pass entrance

Was about to say this ,but glad you spelt it:d:. This is the only exception at both parks. never really needed it for any of the shows, with the exception of Poseidons Fury

think the only riding once rule only applies to express pass too, not the FOTL pass you get when you stay on site which allows you access to everything that has an express pass queue as many times as you like (I think)

The FOLP didn't include the Simpsons ride last month, but that may have been due to it being so new and still at the preview stage.
Obviously this may have since changed or be included in the future.

If you have a FOTL pass can you just stay on the ride or do you have to go around to the entrance for a re-ride ?

Simpsons doesn't appear to be one of the rides on the list.

That's another reason why I mentioned it, (other threads had said no exceptions but one) but it may be that the website needs to be updated anyway. I suppose until someone returns and has been on it or refused with either a FOL or express pass we won't know for sure..

No, don't think the people in the queues (including other FOTL passers) would be too thrilled to see people staying on the ride lol:pgig:
You need to disembark and walk round again:thumbs-up
